The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has announced the rescheduling of ninth-grade exams originally set for September 17, due to the public holiday for Eid Miladun Nabi. These exams will now take place on September 19, as confirmed by BISE spokesman Arslan Cheema.
The affected ninth-grade subjects include Education, Hadith, the History of Pakistan, and Clothing and Textiles. These exams will now be conducted on Thursday, September 19. The decision to reschedule was made to accommodate the public holiday, ensuring that students can observe Eid Miladun Nabi without academic conflicts.
In addition to the ninth-grade exams, the board has also rescheduled the 10th-grade supplementary exams that were postponed on August 26 due to Imam Husain’s Chehlum in the Rawalpindi division. These exams will now be held on September 18. The subjects for the 10th-grade supplementary exams include Chemistry, Clothing and Textiles, Islamic History, Fiqh (Dars Nizami) Group, Science, Physiology, and Hygiene.
Revised roll number slips for regular candidates have been uploaded to their respective institution portals. Private candidates can access their roll number slips on the BISE Rawalpindi website by entering their B-form number, online admission form number, or roll number. Additionally, roll number slips for private candidates are being sent to the addresses provided on their admission forms.
The board has instructed examination staff at all centers to allow candidates to sit for their exams according to the new schedule. Candidates must present their existing roll number slips for identification purposes.
